Free voicemail for people experiencing homelessness in Chicago
A little more than a week ago, Steve Albertson of Community Voice Mail National Officeleft left a valuable comment on CCH's blog. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see it, so let me repost it in full:
I wanted to make sure that you and your readers are aware that there is a free voice mail program available in Chicago for people experiencing homelessness.
Chicago Community Voice Mail has been providing voice mail to homeless and other "phoneless" people for many years, through a network of more than 60 local social service agencies.
Voice mail boxes are provided for free to clients of these agencies. Case managers and other agency staff who wish to provide voice mail boxes to their clients can contact the Chicago Community Voice Mail manager:
Karl Greene
Inspiration Corporation (host of the program)
Phone: 773-878-0981, x226

Thanks!
