Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is proud to be the official charity partner for Riot Fest Chicago, for the sixth year in a row. The three-day music festival and carnival will hold its 12th Chicago extravaganza this Friday through Sunday, Sept. 18 – 20, in Chicago’s Douglas Park, at Roosevelt Road and California Avenue.
Like past years, CCH will raffle off prizes contributed by many Riot Fest acts. Autographed guitars, albums, t-shirts, and posters will go home to lucky fans who purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win. Raffle tickets will be drawn at 7 p.m. Sunday, and winners need not be present to win.
Come stop by and check out our tent, located by the VIP entrance of the Rise Stage. Enter anytime during the festival’s duration to participate in the raffle to win prizes.
To preview the merchandise that will be raffled off, visit CCH Riot Fest on our Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr pages. Last year, almost $20,000 was raised for CCH through raffle ticket sales. This year’s Riot Fest lineup includes big names, including Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Jawbreaker, Wu-Tang Clan, Paramore, and M.I.A.
After Riot Fest weekend, the celebration will continue the following weekend: On Sunday, September 24, there will be Riot Feast, a brunch fundraiser benefitting CCH and the Riot Fest Foundation.
Thanks to the partnership between Riot Fest and the creators of restaurant Save by the Max, this fundraiser will take place at a pop-up Riot Fest-themed diner serving an American family-style brunch located on 1941 W. North Avenue. At Riot Feast, guests can take part in the silent auction featuring signed band memorabilia to raise money for CCH and Riot Fest Foundation.
